“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
As a Christian, you’ve been commissioned to lead men to Christ. But effective soul winning begins with one vital requirement: clarity of the message.
You must have a sound, personal understanding of the Gospel. It’s not enough to be enthusiastic; you must know exactly what you’re communicating. You can’t give what you don’t have. Before the Gospel can bless someone through you, it must have blessed you first. When you comprehend the message, it will come alive in your words, actions, and delivery.
Take time to study and meditate on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Immerse yourself in its truth until it becomes your language and mindset. This clarity empowers boldness and produces results in your evangelism.
Our opening verse, 2 Timothy 2:15, says “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
